RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust Announces Date of Third Quarter Earnings Release, Conference Call and Webcast

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 10/01/10 -- RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust ("RioCan") (TSX: REI.UN) today announced that it is scheduled to release its financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2010 prior to the market open on Thursday, October 28, 2010.

Interested parties are invited to participate in a conference call with management on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. eastern time. You will be required to identify yourself and the organization on whose behalf you are participating.
